Lieutenant Ron Might Just Be Major

Lieutenant Ron may just be bucking for a promotion at West Point Thoroughbreds.  The chestnut colt by Graeme Hall is marching through the ranks of allowance runners toward stakes company.  At Aqueduct in race 3 of Sunday's card, the chestnut colt out Spell Again by Seattle Battle, easily won in a hand-ride by jockey Alan Garcia, going seven furlongs in a fine time of 1:22 and 1 while on cruise control.  Lieutenant Ron joins allowance winner Poovey, stakes placed Hallway, and stakes winner Graeme Six as recent success stories by Graeme Hall, the leading third crop sire in Florida.
